We’re looking forward to the Minnesota Water Resources Conference on October 18-19! Taking place at the Saint Paul RiverCentre in Saint Paul, Minnesota, the conference will feature presentations from seven Barr staff members.
On Tuesday, October 18, tune into three presentations with Barr speakers. First, at 10:40 a.m., join Andy McCabe, Keith Pilgrim, and Janna Kieffer for their presentation “Experimental Field Trial of Media for a Modified Iron-Enhanced Sand Filter.” At 2:15 p.m., Joseph Bischoff will join Josh Maxwell and Terry Jeffery of Riley Purgatory Creek Watershed District and William James of University of Wisconsin Stout to present “The Role of Aluminum Sulfate (Alum) Treatments in the Restoration of Lake Riley, Minnesota.” Then, at 4:15 p.m., Greg Wilson will present “Pond Treatment with Spend Lime to Control Sediment Phosphorus Release.”
On Wednesday, October 19, Katie Turpin-Nagel will co-present “North and East St. Paul Target Store Stormwater Retrofits” with Paige Ahlborg of the Ramsey Washington Metro Watershed District at 11:00 a.m. Then, at 1:55 p.m., Becca Vermace will be joined by Troy Nemmers from the City of Fairmont to discuss “High Nitrate! Part 2: The City of Fairmont’s Implemented Projects to Contribute to the Solution.”
