Michelle Stockness was recently elected to serve as a vice president of the American Water Works Association (AWWA). The largest nonprofit scientific and educational association dedicated to managing and treating water, the AWWA has more than 51,000 members worldwide. Currently serving on the AWWA board of directors, Michelle will serve as vice president from June 2022 to June 2023 as part of her final year as a director-at-large.
An AWWA member for 16 years, Michelle also serves as a member of the organization’s Diversity and Member Inclusion Committee and is an active member of the AWWA’s Minnesota section. “I’m very thankful to Barr for supporting me in serving this role,” said Michelle.
