Ronald Koth

Ron has nearly 40 years of experience as a fisheries biologist with experience in natural channel design, fish passage, in-stream flow quantification and investigations, state and federal permitting, and National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) compliance. His work has included fish-passage evaluations at low-head dams and structures as well as small dam renovations and management of construction projects. Before joining Barr, Ron served as the statewide fisheries habitat program leader for the South Dakota Department of Game, Fish, and Parks for almost two decades.
