Peter has over 10 years of experience with probabilistic water-quality and water-balance modeling, one- and two-dimensional hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, sediment transport, flood-risk management, stream restoration, and bank stabilization. His work includes developing large-scale probabilistic water quality models for mining projects and conducting one- and two-dimensional hydraulic modeling to evaluate flow patterns and erosion potential for dam projects. Trained in natural channel design, he conducts geomorphologic assessments on natural and channelized streams; analyzes basin-scale geomorphologic and sediment-transport data; and designs ravine-stabilization and stream-restoration projects. Peter also provides construction support and oversight.
