Nathan Brandner

Nathan has nearly 15 years of experience with environmental site investigation and characterization. He specializes in developing complex and dynamic conceptual site models to help advance contaminated sites to closure. He manages site cleanups involving former manufactured gas plants, brownfields redevelopment, and active underground mining. Nathan is skilled in a variety of techniques for sampling soil, soil vapor, and groundwater; he also conducts geophysical investigations by using electromagnetic induction, ground-penetrating radar, electrical resistivity, seismic refraction, and multichannel analysis of surface waves.

 

In addition, Nathan performs geotechnical investigations, geologic risk assessments, assessment and remediation of historic dump sites, and pipeline construction and restoration. He assists clients with stakeholder collaboration, including interactions and negotiations with attorneys and regulators.
