Jon has nearly two decades of experience on dam, spillway, shoreline restoration, slope stabilization, site development, and tailings management projects, including involvement on projects at over 100 dam sites. His work entails design and construction management for new dams and spillways, modifications and removals, and for seepage cutoff barriers. He also conducts dam safety inspections. Additionally, Jon provides design, planning, and management for new and existing tailings-basin disposal systems and dams. Before joining Barr, he worked for the South Dakota Department of Game, Fish and Parks, where he was involved in the design and construction of projects at state-owned dams, parks, and recreation areas.
