Doug has more than three decades of experience assisting clients in developing strategies and executing projects involving investigation, remediation, and redevelopment of contaminated sites. He also provides regulatory analysis, permitting and negotiations assistance, and litigation support. Doug’s project work has included directing and managing the investigation and cleanup of former industrial and manufacturing facilities, wood-treating sites, railroad properties, and petroleum refining and storage sites. His expertise encompasses Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) and Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) regulations; state brownfield grant and voluntary cleanup programs; and state and federal groundwater cleanup and protection standards.
